I am really excited and want to tell her today. I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant. i wasn't planning this, but I am happy and she wants a brother or sister really bad. Should I tell her today?

If I tell her, then I will have to tell my family within a month, and she will tell school and everyone. Is it fair to ask her to just talk to me about it for now? She is a very quiet child and keeps secerets too well if you ask me.

Would that be wrong? Help me please. I am to excited to think through my options!

After 7 kids, I find the best way to keep them from getting jealous is to tell them right away, and it wouldn't hurt to tell her that she is the first person you are telling because she is so special to you and that you would like it to be your little secret for now, because you want to suprise your family around the holidays(like it is going to be a present) Maybe she can even help you tell them. Go for it, have a mommy and me night with her favorite dinner and tell her the good news.

I told my 5 year old right way. I do think its unfair to expect her to keep a secret. That's a big secret and it sounds like she will be very excited. Also from my experience be prepared for the "are we there yet?" syndrome! Good luck and congrats!

Tell her today. Being one of the first to know will be great for her and then if she sees you sick she won't have to worry.

Tell her and have fun. Don't put expectations on her of how she should feel
