Do you think it's alight to take my kitten with me to get these things or will they let pets in ? Or how will I know what I need?

You can get a kitten fixed as early as 12 weeks I read this in my cat's Vet's office. It surprised me, and the earlier the better.........they won't start spraying urine to mark their territory that way. I'd hold off on the Collar until he is at least 6--8months as he will be almost grown, you can get your name tag from the vet when you get his shots. Yep! Cats need shots too.

If your going to get one, get one that is a breakaway collar for kittens, you should start the kitten early. After a while they won't wear them. Name Tags you can get at you local vets office or at a petfood/toys store. You should get your kitten fixed between 4-5 months old. Not after they are 5 1/2 months old. Good luck

get a breakaway or safety collar with a name tag on it just in case he accidental gets out of your house. you should get your cat fixed as soon as possible about 6 months is recommended if you wait too much longer he is going to start spraying and when a cat starts spraying getting him fixed won't 100% guarantee he won't spray anymore. you could bring your cat to pet smart to pick out a collar but I think that might be a bit too stressful for him.

When I got my cat, she was about 3months old when we got her a collar. She was spayed at 3 months as well, although they wouldnt declaw her until 5 months, but you cant decalw them after 9 months because the weight is to heavy on wounded paws.

you can put a collar on a cat as early as you want, just make sure you get a "safety collar" they have a release clip that breaks if it gets caught on something.
some vets say wait till 5 months before you get a cat fixed, but they can be fixed earlier than that. ask your vet how long (s)he wants to wait. the earlier the better!

4-8 Months for spayed or neutered, same with collar, as far as safe ones http://www.agilitynet.com/health/fleacollar.HTML go there it has some stuff about alternitives. You might wanna look into getting he/ she wormed if you got him from an adoption area, same age with that also.

This age, so he can get used to it- I think there are some pretty soft collars, but he might chew it off so you might need stronger ones..maybe go to a vet or groomer and ask for collar advice?

For the first part,Petco,Walmart,Target.Anywhere that sells pet items.Name tags should be from your vet, also ask your vet if he's old enough, but I would say...YES!
Also, he needs vaccinations,to prevent disease or death. You NEED rabies shot.
