If I believe in a man named jesus, and the messenger he was am I a Chrisitan? Now if I say I dont believe in the bible entirely, and have felt this way ever since I can remember, even as I sat in sunday school? Am I a lost Christian? Now I have the ability to put my hands on people and give them positive energy, and help heal their bodies, is this evil? I have seen ghosts, and I have pulled family members into my dreams when frightened, Am I a witch?
If so am I evil? I believe in the power of faith, and faith being many gods. I believe that god is in us, and therfore we are god. So am I being blashphemous.? I also believe in the metaphysical world of science? Am I a scientologist, which by the way they too believe in god as being more than limitations. So what am I confused.
If that is the case then why do I feel as though god just wants me to be who I am, and by embracing myself I embrace the word god.
What am I? What is it that I believe, when it is everything without limits.

If you never believed that Jesus was the son of God, then you were never a Christian. If you feel like at some time you were a Christian and have turned your back on the church and its beliefs, then you would be what's referred to as a "heretic". I don't know if you are "confused" or "lost" or just indecisive. I don't think you are "evil". You sound like a very "spiritual" person. I think you would fit in well with Unitarian Universalists.

The website I referenced talks about all religions and I think there's even a little test you can take which will tell you where your beliefs fall as far as organized religion is concerned.

There are many lines that you seem to see as black and white...that may or may not be. Jesus has no problem with science. The bible has no problem with science.

I have a background in Anthropology and geology. I am also a bible believer. Most issues in the bible are easily resolved and the bible tends to be backed both by hard science and archeology.

The bible is very away of biology, zoology, astronomy, and science in general. What are your specific issues with it? My email is aarondarling@yahoo.com.

On a different note, I dont know that its necessary to delineate a lable for what you believe. The important thing is to continually grow and seek and question. The typical problem within christianity is not Jesus or the bible...its that many times christians are close minded or judgemental. It always good to keep an open mind and to ask good deep questions.

How can you be a Christian (meaning Christ like). He didn't preach many gods. I think you are confused. The entire bible is focused on Christ and what He would accomplish at the Cross. It's not about any other gods. Didn't you see what happened to the children of Israel when they started following after other gods. I believe you can love God with your whole heart and be confused, lost, or whatever you want to call it. I was there, but only in another way. It suppose to be about Christ, not about what you can do. It is the power of God that flows through us to help heal. We can do nothing within our own selves. You have to realize also, that Satan has powers as well. He uses those things to distract us and get us off focus. We think we're serving God, but in fact are only carrying out the deeds of satan.

Well those who are lost, are those who have not abided by Acts 2:38. To be saved you must follow the steps of salavation. Hear, Beleive, Repent, Confess, Be baptized and Be faithful. The greek word for Baptism is "Baptismo", which is translated to mean to be fully immersed, not sprinkled, not having water poured on your head. It is full immersion. Baptism in and of itself is a representation of Jesus' death, burial and ressurection. When we bury people we don't just throw a little dirt on top of them, we cover them comepletely with dirt. So as in Baptism we must be fully immersed under water. As far as the laying on of hands, let's look at what the Bible has to say on that. All the examples in the Bible of people being healed are them being healed entirely. Like the lame man, to be able to walk, the blind man being able to see. No one on earth today has the ability to perform spiritual gifts. Those tele- evanglists, who claim to heal do not. They could never make a lame man walk or a blind person see. The people who Jesus healed were healed entirely, they didn't relapse. I beleive those who are New Testament Christians, have received the Holy spirit when they were baptized. As we know the Holy Spirit, is part of the God head. (God head= God, Jesus, Holy Spirit). So If this is what you mean, by we have God in us, then yes. But the Holy Spirit is difficult to understand. I mean the way he works is difficult to understand. It's not like all the sudden you know you have the Holy Spirit, and start jumping around. It is something God puts in us, I beleive to help us evangelize. I truly beleive you are someone who is searching for the truth and you want to be saved. My husband is a preacher for the Church of Christ and we would be glad to study with you.

Firstly, you are not evil nor lost nor a witch. You have your own set of beliefs and ideas which make you who you are. Most of us are like this, surprisingly enough.

I think you are quite normal.
