also try starting house training from scratch again, crate train while you are away and keep him with you at all times so if he starts peeing interupt him with a loud noise and bring him outside. Or it could be a UTI, get a urinalysis done at your vet to rule that out first.

The dogs would have a kidney an infection. because the dogs were potty educated already. dogs do not oftentimes have injuries once they have been educated. The dogs might want to really have bladder stones that develop into the rationalization my dogs began having injuries. yet my dogs develop into older. The domestic dog would basically have a an infection. Take him to the Vet. no longer some thing new has got here about around the abode that has made him mad? domestic dogs can develop into very fearful and disenchanted incredibly and that's how they can tutor it at cases.

If the dog is in the middle of your stressful situation, he might have a stress-induced urinary tract infection (UTI) that's making him pee.
It may be "anger" induced intentional urination, but we tend to doubt this because he's also doing it at your friend's and neighbor's home. Usually anger behavior is directed at whatever human is causing him the upset.
We suggest you get him checked out by your vet. If it's a UTI, he'll need medication...
And try to keep your martial stress away from your dog. Dogs are just like kids; they may not understand everything you and your spouse are saying to each other, but they can certainly feel (and will "internalize") your anger and upset.

Please take your dog to the vet before doing anything else. Dogs(especially middle aged ones) can get a multitude of urinary problems, some of which can be stress related. Your dog could have a urinary tract or bladder infection, kidney or bladder stones, incontinence in common in female dogs. Also diseases like kidney failure, cushings disease, and diabetes will make your dog drink more water and have accidents in the house. Have your vet help you rule all these things out before you assume this is a behavior problem due to a change in your routine.

Yep, it could be seperation anixety. Even though you and your spouse understand why you split up, doesn't mean Spike understands it. Do you have something of your husbands like a shirt or pants that the dog can have and sleep on?

It might be one of the other answers but, you might want to have the Vet check him out for possible urinary infection or first stages of renal failure.

I think any kind of change an attitude, they don't understand like we do. He probably feels very insecure and just needs extra love and understanding. try it it may work.
