I would say they are safe for sports cars b/c you have a better reach and grip on the pedals, they definately aren't unsafe. They are in my dad's '88 Vette and they're so nice to sit in so I would say they are worth the money

If you like bucket seats, then yes, as for as being safe I would have to ask are they new or used, will they fit in your car or are they made for your car?

Are they fixed buckets? If so, buy them if You are happy without seat adjustment.
