i went to a mosque here in boston, and they welcome me like a normal muslim, and they explain a little bit the rules that they use inside the mosque, so i stay and enjoy the ceremony like a regular muslim

I'm no Muslim, but I did tour the Dome of the Rock and al-Asqua Mosques in Jerusalem.

So the answer is yes, non-Muslims may visit a mosque. During prayer, however, there may be some other rules.

yes.. non muslims are allowed to visit a mosque.. they can stand or sit as their hearts desire wherever around the compound as long as they are not in the area where prayers are conducted.. and yes,they are welcomed.. u can check out the architecture and the designs of the mosques.. it's really beautiful.. ;p

Yes they are allowed but (if they want to learn about islam and not come to mess about) if they are a boy they have to wear a hat and if they are a girl then she should wear a scarf.(out of respect) and if you want to learn about islam ask someone in the mosque to guide about the mosque and why muslims do all these things in a mosque.And they will welcome you as a normal muslim just like the others. y do you want to become a muslim? i'm just askin, Reply back.

Yes, non-Muslims are allowed inside mosques...and some times they are allowed during prayer time, so they can see how the rituals are performed.

But there are rules...a person must becareful of what she/he wears (nothing too revealing is allowed)

I think, non-Muslims may visit mosques but they are not allowed to have a glimpse of SANGE ASWAD in MECCA.

of course u are!!in fact,they are very eager to pass on the true message of islam and erase its bad image due to sum misunderstandings..u r more thn welcum.....of course like the others have already said thr are certain rules and regulations to be followed..such as making little noise,dressing properly,switching off ur cell phone etc.
