how many expect the child to accomplish what you are too weak too?

I want and expect my children to live up to thier full potential... For each child that potential is different...

The best way I can describe it is school grades.... I have one child who is capable of getting all b's without ever opening a school book or studying... I have another child who struggles with school work hovering around a c average she studies and sudies but still a c average... When the non studying child brings home b's I let them know I expect them to do more work, that b could easily be an A with a bit of effort... When the child who struggles brings home all c's I am proud because I know work and effort went into aquirring those c's... I want each child to live upto his or her greatest potential, I am proud of and for then when they do live up to thier potential and I get on them when they don't...

If the greatest accomplishment my child can ever make is to become a ditch digger, I will expect them to be the best ditch digger they are capable of being and I will glow with pride as I watch them be the best they can be....

I will encourage my baby to accomplish great things, and help them all I can along the way. Not because I was to weak too, but because I want the best for my child. I hope my baby will accomplish in life all their goals and dreams.

For most people it was lack of encouragement, we know not to do what our parents did, if we can learn from our parents, we are better able to teach our children. Support and encouragement, THAT is what a child needs to succeed!! LOVE is for everything else! Forget about men!!! Your children are the LOVE OF YOUR LIFE'S! as long as they know that, they can do anything!!!!!
