Me and my best mate once befriended a guy, we nicknamed him dangerous Brian for some reason, anyway the friendship didn't last long as he was always telling lies about himself. The worst was when he said he had Cancer, which at the time was absolutely out of order as another friend of ours was present and her Mother was just diagnosed as having Cancer. We dropped him there and then.

Don't be concerned that he may have been telling the truth, we know for a 100% he wasn't !!

I knew a woman once that said that her ex husband was stalking her and had beat her numerous times and threatened her and that she had a restraining order on him. And that she needed money that she would pay back but that she wanted to move so he couldn't locate her. Well I didn't give her the money and luck has it I saw her two days later in McDonalds with her ex husband and her kids eating and laughing and probably setting up their next scam on some poor soul lol

I wasn't involved in this story myself, but one of my friends told me what happened:

A close friend of mine, who has been known to be a notorious liar, told a bunch of her girls that her dad had beaten her up. She claimed that there were bruises all over her arms, yet she wouldn't show them to anyone. The girls tried to convince her to talk to our counselor, which she refused to do. It was only when her friends decided to tell the counselor themselves that she admitted her lie — no bruises on her.
