Depends how old child is. If they were born after 2003 the law changed and the father has equal parental rights.
Whats wrong with letting the child stay with Dad?
The best for the child would be to share custody, maybe stay with dad but have daily contact with mum

THe courts will decide... THe children are appointed an attorney by the state
( thats how it is done in NY ) they will talk to the kids about why they dont want to live one parent & they might visit the home as well .

depends on how old you are and which you spend most your time with the courts always go on what the child wants as long as your old enough to make up your own mind

depends on childs age and living conditions of father... if old enough to be somewhat self suffiecient let tehm - they will come crawling back to you soon enough.... if child support is an issue, do what is best for you and your kids....
