Without a sense of humor, life is joyless and pointless, if you can't laugh at yourself, then you are way too serious about yourself and life in general.

I think it's very important to have one. Mine? Well most people would say no but I'm shy and the true sense of humor doesn't come out until I'm very comfortable with a person.. then watch out!

I think it is very important to have a good sense of humor. Especially if you you have a chronic disease. There is nothing funny about having pain, but being able able to laugh helps more than you know. Good Question.

It is the most important tool in coping with life. If you don't have a good sense of humor, not all the medicine in the world can save you. Faith that tomorrow can be better than today requires humor.

Without humor, there'd be no point in living.

I rate it at the top of things to do today list. I definitely have one, I think I'm just misunderstood. You should use your humor all the time--Except maybe when you're in the room with a bunch of lawyers and they've asked you for the tenth time to hand over your second set of books.
They wouldn't believe me and it was past lunch time, so I gave them a copy of A Cat in the Hat. (Had to take the kids along couldn't afford a sitter, yeah I'm rolling in it folks.)They got all redfaced and one genius asked me "Are you being sarcastic?" The other genius checked the book. We had to go for a break cause the rest of the room pretty much fell apart.
I was warned in no uncertain terms to keep my humor to myself in the future. Sheesh.

It is very important to give all questions a sense of proportion. I think I am funny and appreciate humor. Others think I am strange.

I think its very important.......I love humor but it has its place and I dont find humor in everything I read on here. I love to laugh but I can quickly turn serious when I see manipulation, scarcism, or hateful remarks.....Mainly when I read remarks posted like, "I used sperm to clean my bible"...."is it okay to masturbate while praying"...."are all christians brainwashed and uneducated" These take away my humor and leave me grieved
