How about if everyone on the planet just prayed, intentioned, visualized, meditated upon, etc. world peace? We don't actually have to agree on anything else - though tolerance and unity would be nice too.
Peace!

Prayer to God is speaking to God. If we pray to God frequently, we can cultivate a closer relationship with Him. “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you,” says Jesus’ disciple James. (James 4:8) Apart from this, we can gain inner peace. Wrote Paul: “Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.”—Philippians 4:6, 7.
Those with problems, even those who have committed serious wrongs, can ask for and receive help and forgiveness.
The Bible also says we should have faith in God when we pray. “Without faith it is impossible to please him well, for he that approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him.”—Hebrews 11:6.

Absolutely nothing... Its been proven in fact, that prayer actually lead to an increase in complications in open heart surgery patients that were prayed for. The group who had the LEAST AMOUNT of complications? Those NOT PRAYED FOR.
Besides, you'd all have to pray on the same thing to change anything...
I beleive that prayer is nothing more than the strength of the human mind at work. As you are unable to find strength inside yourself, you attribute the changes in your life to a God, rather than to who really deserves the praise - yourself.

It funny you ask that question because I feel like I do not pray enough. I feel we as Christians if we pray more God will increase are faith. Mark 11:23-24 reads the following; For verily I say unto you that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be cast unto the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart , but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass: he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye shall have them.

Bush and his administration would all die.terrorists may leave Iraq and Afghanistan.Iran may get peaceful nuclear energy for producing fuel and Jesus would come and tell them the truth and destroy their unfair media so that they would understand that Islam is their friend and that we all love them.lots of things would happen but only if they pray for God instead of Jesus!

More souls would return to the Lord. Prayer adds to the glorification of God. Prayer strengthens the angel and saints to intercede for us and aids in the conversion of sinners.

Prayed more...if it means talking to your neighbors less, you would become more insular and intolerant.
If it meant listening to God more and accepting his Will more...great things.
