When Jesus Christ returns, there will be no more opportunity to ask for forgiveness and seek to live in a way that is pleasing to God. Or if you die before He returns, there will be no more opportunity. If you live in separation from God right now, there is still a chance to get into a right relationship with Him. But after Jesus returns, or after you die (whichever comes first), there are no more chances.
That is what the "too late" means.
Hope this helps!

Someone was probebly referring to the rapture. You can read all about it in the very last book of the bible. It's one of my favorite books in the bible. The last book, Revelations, explains that sometime soon, Jesus will come back to earth, and save christians. Then the wrath of God will pour out on anyone left with torture and what-not. Then at the end God basically stomps on the devil's face and throws him into hell with everyone else he put in there. It's described as a lake of fire.

There's tons more stuff. You should read it.

JJ, if you accept Jesus Christ now, you will not have to endure the Tribulation. During this time, the earth will undergo 21 unspeakably horrible judgements; the purpose of these judgements is not to punish, but to try and get folks to understand that there IS a God ... and He's very angry with them.

Unfortunately, we also know that those who reject the gospel prior to the Rapture will be blinded to the truth during the Tribulation. They will honestly think the Antichrist is the messiah, or a great leader who's come to save the world from destruction.

Please at least TRY praying to God and asking Him to show Himself to you. Pray to Him to help you with your unbelief. He WILL answer you. Maybe not that very second, but He will answer.

Peace.

Never too late. For "worst" is not even ment'd in the NT at all, but the "blotting out" of what's against us: law, is ment'd oft. All law is to be "done away" since it's both the "ministration of condemnation" and the "ministration of death". Law is the "put off" to "put away" when the child becomes the man kind. God said: let us make "man". His witness unto all men said: be no more children (not even children of God), for children get tossed to & fro by winds(spirits), and children differ nothing from servants. Thou art no more a servant, but a Son.

So there's still hope for the "worse"-end state of man playing a childish blame game; And "worse"-end notably involves "seven spirits" in Mt 12:45 and Revelation; all "seven" having one thing in common: "law".

Our Father, deliver us from evil: Mt 6:13
We are delivered from the law: Rom 7:6
What remains is global awareness of it.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

We only have this lifetime on Earth to make a decision. If you are wrong, you don't get to do a take-backsie after you die. And, no, whether you believe in God or not, you are not separated from Him now. He is still watching over us. You could not begin to imagine life without the presense of God as you think you are doing now. Without God, there is only Satan to rule over you, and by the way, he hates you because God made you and he hates God, whether you agree with him or not has no meaning to him. He only want torture you because God loves you whether you love Him back or not.

We do not live separately from God unless we choose to do so and even then God continues to call you to be with him. He does not abandon you even though you abandoned him. The consequences for not accepting Jesus in person or by the way we live our lives are an eternal separation from God. That will be painful.

It is too late when you die without knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord / Savior. It is too late to go to heaven. Even one sin will keep you out of heaven. Your sins need to be atoned for.

If the good news of reconciliation with God has been presented to you correctly, and you have rejected it, it could mean hell.

Hell is made for the devil & his angels / messengers.

many feel the end of the earth is coming they are refering to accept him before he comes the second time to claim his people.

and hell is not going to be like this but rather a fire that consumes sin untill it is no more if people cling to sin they will be burned with it not live forever while burning that is a horrible misconception
