I used to cook alot of game when I was chef and had the opportunity to butcher a half side of moose a number of yrs ago, the problem is unless you know what cut, the part of the moose it is from, likely the legs or shoulder, marinating is your best bet, and a strong acid like red wine or beer, then slow roasting or crockpot, you could grill it but your traking your chances of eating a rubber tire, the longer you marinate then better.
If it is not your will to wait for a day or 2, grind it and make it inot burgers or meatballs, add lots of onion and seasonings, breadcrumbs an egg if you want, if doing any of this you would be best to cook it well done, moose are wild creatures, and live in swamps, the meatball idea would be nice in a sauce with mushroom soup, wine or beer, garlic and if your have a specialty store that sells wild mushrooms even better, fresh or dried, just soak the dried ones in water and a splash of wine if you choose to use it.
Good luck , the time I did the side of moose, I got 5 pounds of ground meat, some went to burger, half moose and half pork, it is not a fat meat, and the rest was made into a pate, with chicken livers, brandy and spices, I served it Xmas eve to a unsuspecting crowd, you should have seen there faces when they found out.

You can cook moose similarly to beef. As a matter of fact, the flavor is that of old fashioned beef, back in the days when cattle were not sent to market so early, but left to mature. Like beef, better cuts can be simply broiled or grilled, lesser cuts may be braised, stewed or marinated. Recipes for elk, caribou and venison can also be used for moose. Moose is also generally leaner than beef. You might try an internet search for "moose recipe"

I found by marinating in onion and apple juice, the onion will tame the wild taste and the citrus in apple juice will make meat tender. If making burgers add onion and cooked bacon, to add flavor and prevent drying out.

Both are good for you, each fruit/vegetable has different vitamins. Thus as more variety, as better. Vegetables have generally less sugar than fruits.

Prepare it just like beef or buffalo. Potatos, onions, carrots are all good. Mashed will work too. Asaparagus if you want to be fancy.
