I am in a long distant relationship now. We talk everyday. But to be honest, I am moving closer to my Love next month. I don't know how long we could have made it long distance. It is very difficult. I suggest that you communicate with your partner about getting together in the future. You relationship may survive it knowing that you will be together in the long run.

a long distant relationship can last as long as both of the people in the relationship stay faithful to one another, it may be hard but i believe that it is possible

Most certainly can. My fiance and I have one and have involved for almost 3 years and works very well. As a matter of fact we are marrying next May 20 and will continue to live 2.5 hours apart until it is decided who, if either, can and will move. I have a pretty good job and fiance operates two stores so it is difficult choice. We do see each other each and every weekend as well as talk nightly on phone. She is currently stuck with me for 3 months at her house while I recouperate from knee replacement surgery, poor doll. Ha!

It's more of a question of can you trust the person you want a relationship with.... and how often you can see them.

If you can't see them enough then things will fall apart not to mention the trust and jealousy will throw everything into whack.

It also depends on how far you are from the other person... if i's only a couple hours... that's nothing.. if you're skipping provinces and states... then things just might not work.

Goodluck

Yes! My husband and I had a long distance relationship for 3 years before we got married and we have never been happier. Both people have to want it to work. They are a lot of work and are harder to maintain than a regular relationship, but if you can make it work they are well worth it.

If 2 people are willing to make the sacrifices that come along with having a long distance relationship....yes it can work.

Yep I think so, since I have been the witness of a long distance relationship since 3 years- that of one of my friends. But on second thought, it also depends on the intensity of love between the lovers, the trust , the sincerity, the communication and the affection.

i was in a long distance relationship with my bf for a year and a few months..and were still together, no longer long distance tho because i moved closer..but

it really just depends on the couple.
it is however really hard, because sometimes you guys arnt able to see eachother as much as you like..but look..by the time you guys are able to see eachother is a lot better than the couples who see eachother everyday. since you have all that distance, you miss them more and when you see eachother its very very special.

if you really like this person and really want to work it out...then distance is no matter.

you can try - if both people want it to bad enough i think it can - distance can be overcome, but you must know the person personally not just online, that doesnt useually work - it has just not alot.. patience is a big thing and most people cannot control urges that happen when the other is not present - then guilt destroys what is left of long distance love...
