My daughter used Winnie-the-Pooh for her son and now for her daughter - a classic that never goes out of style...

I also know a woman who's husband is a Unix geek so they decorated their little girl's nursery with penguins. I made her a yellow and white baby afghan with black accents and it was adorable. The entire room was yellow, black and white and very attractive, fitting right in with the "educational" toys nowadays.

Suzie zoo for the first. Then it changed to unicorn. Then spongebob and now it is disney princess.

With my second baby who is only a month...it was classic winnie the pooh but that seemed too average and so i changed it to the cow jumps over the moon and other nursery rhymes.

We got all our stuff at pottery barn kids. We painted the walls a green. The bedding is ABC's and animals and we have a wall border that is ABC's. We love it, the green is very soothing and it's a great room to relax in.

Baby safari animals. Works for boy or girl. I picked it for my daughter so that it would someday work for a boy if I needed it. Now I'm having a boy and I can reuse everything...bedding, toys, decorations, etc.
