Is there a good reason why when your kids are school aged, that you don't have a job? You can get a job during the day while they are at school, or work the opposite shift of your husband. Even if it is just a part-time minimum wage job (which there are plenty of out there, so there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to find one) that is better than letting your kids go without, and if you can't spend time with your husband because you are working opposite shifts, oh well, the kid's needs come before your own. If your husband can work, so can you.

There are lots of FREE community services and job forces/networks that can help you get some experience in a classroom or job training program.
You can attend these programs while your kids are in school.
This will help prepare you to enter the workforce.
There are lots of minimum wage jobs that you can work while your kids are at school -- try checking with a job force network to find out more information.

Instead of being just a full time housewife, why don't you get a part time job? At least you can also help earning some extra money for your family...
Since you have an internet connection at home, why don't you try getting involved with online business (like joining ebay for example?)...

Your kids are now in school all day, go get a job during the day. Unless you are disabled to the point you can't work there is no reason for you to not work.

Try Salvation Army or some other consignment shops. You too could get a job to help support your family. The man doesn't have to be the only one working you know.

Try hard to find a job. In the meantime, is there any family member who can help out? I hate to know kids need the basics and they are not available. good luck.

My 8 year old son likes to make money yet i does no longer make him purchase his personal clothing with it yet. If he truly wanted something particular, a non necessity, then perhaps yet paying for college clothing is really my duty.

Ok first off if your sooo poor how do you have access to a compture? Are you at the libary?? If so, go get some books out on sewing and learn how to make your own clothing. if you can work a compture you can work a sewing machine... and you can alway get a used sewing machine cheap! If you can afford a compture then you can afford to go to good will and find some nice used clothing.

I'm sorry, friend. Maybe offer babysitting jobs, anything, or just go ahead and get a job?
Once you're on your feet, Ross is the best answer ;) Good luck with your life and god bless.
