We've been together for one year and are living with each other. Lately we've been arguing back and forth but now all that has stopped. The thing is now the sparks just dont seem to be there. He tells me he loves me and wants to be with me but he's not as affectionate as he used to be. What can I do to get that back?

Sex is not an issue, Im not asking for sexual attention, theres plenty of that. Im wanting affection which I give plenty of and he used to but not near as much anymore.

If he told you he really loves you without having you forcing him to, then he must mean it..if he has no affection in his voice, it probably shows that he's just tired of arguing.
Try to earn back what you want by just acting like you were before, don't let any arguements get in.
Hope that helps.

you need to put some distance between the both of you....sometimes as couples we get a lil tired of each other and we need a break....the last thing you want is to grow apart however you need that spark there to have a exciting/wonderful relationship....whats happening here is your boyfriend has become bored and too comfortable with the relationship so he doesnt feel the need to be affectionate torwards you....the key is space...so when your out of his company he'll realize how much you mean to him...i know you don't want him to lose interest in you....but you don't want him to grow tired of you either....just give each other a lil bit of space.... and you both will realize how much you mean to one another....then you'll be soon sparkling again good luck!

Be sweet to him, and Kind. Tell him how much he means to you. Wear something nice, dress up every once in a while. Set a romantic candle light dinner at the house for when he comes home from work, or from being out with the boys.

Two things: Dont spend a lot of time with each other so when you see each other you can apprieciate it.
Two: Take a vacation together to try and get the spark back.

The problem is every man, women, and relationship is different. The only answer I know to give you is to be flirtatious. Men always seem to react to a fun loving / coy women. Tease him and be spontaneous. I know it sounds cliche, but without knowing the two of you or your relationship, I think the best advice is to use the old tricks, they are the catch all solutions.

To me it sounds as though you are ready to move on, if the sparks aren't there, the chances they will come back aren't very good, if you want to stick it out, by all means do but keep in mind that it's more likely you and him are ready to move on.

oh goodness i had this problem before.
are you really effectionate now that he's not?
try to make it equal..sometimes when one of the lovers feel all loved by the other..sometimes they dont even bother to do the same because he can see that he gets the effectionate out of you even when he's not. so try to make it equal..most of the time, they'll relize that and start being all effectionate to try to get YOU all effectionate again.
but you can still be effectionate but dont be like ALL over him..cuz then he'll just feel like he hass all of you(which is probly true) but make him feel like he needs to do the same, because what if the love dies off of you?

Time. After a fight, it always seems like intimacy is lost. Your relationship just needs to be nutured, and it will probably get even stronger than it was before.
