I'd try sleeping on a satin pillow case. Otherwise wrap your head in something satiny. Good luck.

Most black women wrap their hair at night with a satin or silk scarf. Not only does it keep hair from knotting up at night it makes the hair soft and shiny. Of course this can also be very unsexy. Another choice is buying a satin or silk pillowcase then just pull your hair back into a loose braid.

Brush your hair and cover it with a shower cap(if you happen to own one)before going to sleep at night to prevent knotting.

Put on one of those hair-nets at night...it works like a charm! OR you could use a stocking cap. Another idea is, after brushing it, apply a lightweight, leave-in, quickly absorbed moisturizer such as L'ANZA Solutions hair repair formula leave-in protector. It is a protein-enhanced leave-in fortifier protective conditioner. L'ANZA's Hair Repair Formula features L'ANZA's EXCLUSIVE Keratin Bond System...an extraordinary protein delivery system which in a short time makes your hair look and feel stronger, softer and remarkably healthy. The leave-in protector is quickly absorbed and lightweight..there is NOTHING like it on the market. You should try it, gurl! It is AWESOME! You'll LOVE me for it!

Citre Shine Hair Polisher will work for you. Just follow dirextrions and it will make you a happy morning person! I have suggested it to the long-haired motorcycle riders that I know, and it works for them to keep hair from knotting!

Spray your hair with detangling spray lightly0 like that Johnson& Johnson or Infusium, and gently bruch or comb out your hair. Then if it in either two braids or a french braid in the back. Hopefully this will work for you as it did for me.

Put a mayo and egg mixture in your hair a night. Put on a shower cap and wash it out in the morning. Mayo=healthy & egg=shiny ♥

Sleep on your face.
Only joking!
I have naturally curly hair, as does my daughter, and if I don't pull our hair back or up at night it's birds nests galore in the morning. I know it sounds dorky, but, if you put it in a bun at bedtime, it will save you a headache in the morning. No pun intended. Hope I was helpful. God bless!

When I had long hair I had the same problem... what worked for me was putting my hair in a loose braid. Hope you find something that works for you!
