Dogs dont have individual soul...but a collective soul, who is in higher astral planes and guides dogs as a species.

this is true abt all other animals too

No. Animals are a part of the natural environment, and as such will pass away with the rest of it. Human beings are created in God's image and likeness, and have been given the gift of eternal salvation. The fact that we have domesticated some animals doesn't make them take on God's image and likeness, or gain immortality.

Besides, the idea of animals going to heaven presents two possibilities ... (1) Only pets go to heaven, not other animals. This means that we ourselves make an animal eligible for eternal life by domesticating it. God has nothing to do with which animals are "saved" and which are not. We become the "savior" of animals. Or, (2) All animals go to heaven, which means that heaven will be overrun with crocodiles, elephants, monkeys, sharks, spiders and cockroaches. Not to mention dinosaurs. Either alternative is absurd.

Christian teaching says that animals have no soul and therefore can not go to heaven. I love animals and receive great joy from my pets. They are fun to watch and play with and they simply become a part of the family. I think it is possible for God to let us have our pets back in heaven. Anything is possible with God. We really just don't know for sure but I would think they would make a great addition to heaven.

All of God's living creations have souls; therefore, dogs and other animals will have their rightful place in heaven.

I just don't know if all the pets I've had in my lifetime will be coming to my door at that time.

The Bible teaches that animals don't go to heaven. Their soul is connected to their body. When they die they return to the ground. Ecclesiastes 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
