To have a happy and long marriage....you have to both give 100% each day. He needs to be your best friend and you have to have GOOD communication skills. Took me one bad apple and 37 yrs to find my "mr right". I always told my daughter ( who is getting married soon) that he had to be your best friend, the sex is just a great bonus! I tell my single friends, being married to the right person is like having a slumber party with your friend every night...kinda hard to go to sleep (if you know what I mean)

The love euphoria lasts up to two years. After that you develop a different more mature not as exciting love. And that is where some people say the "work" comes in. For me it doesn't feel like work. It is all in your attitude, and his. I think you two should wait, take your time. Enjoy your time together. It is a beautiful time right now. Take the time to talk about it and talk about what if.. what will we do... how will we come together to handle this....

Yes it is very much possible to stay in love, if you find your soul mate. You knmow when its your soul mate when that person he/she challenges you. Someone that is diffrent from the rest of the guys and you feel lilke you dont have to wonder about him cheating on you. No matter what his/her imperfections are you have deep feelings for him/her. And once you find somebody like that its almost not possible for you to not stay in love.

if you love eachother a lot, and want to be with eachother, then by all means it will work, just when there are hard times, 2 of you have to get through it together, share happiness with eachother, a relationship will last.

Like anything if you work at it you can do it.My mom and dad stayed together untill my mom died and that was over 50 years so, why could`nt it work for you guys to?
