next time u meet her just say hi or hello to her i think she wanted to be ur friend so whats the harm i think u better respond to her greetings n yeah ur not crazy everyone feel this way when they had their first meet so good luck...

If you like her...tell her. She must like you to wish you a Happy Birthday. Handshake is good but a hug would have been better.
