Like if he lives with his parents, would it be better if he doesn't tell the girl so soon so he won't scare her away or does it really matter?

It really depends on his reason.

Turn-ons:
-it is because it is the most financially sensible thing to do.
-it is because I want to help my mother.
Turn-offs:
-it's awesome to have someone cook for you/clean for you/take care of you.
(Okay no-one says this outright, but it becomes obvious if that's the reason.)

How old are you? Are you living with your parents because you are too lazy to get a job? Or is it because you are sill in school and you need a ton of time to study? If you have a really good reason for living at home, and you younger than 27, I don't think it's too big a deal. If you don't have a really good reason, than you need to get a job and get out of mom's basement!

Tell her up front. Don't lie. Thats immature, than she MIGHT like you but not for YOU. Which is a guy who still lives with his parents. If you're so ashamed than DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT- move out, d*mn it. But for now thats who you are and you shouldn't lie about it. And no I would not date a guy who still lives with his parents. Unless you're under 21 years old... thats just immature for a guy.

it depends how old you are and if you got your own job , as long as she knows that you can support yourself, or if she knows that you help your parents out, you might just live there because you go to school , but yes i do encourage that as soon as you can move out you do, it looks better

I don' t find anything scary if a guy is still living with his parents. May be he has his own reasons. I can' t judge him , but should respect his decision.

depends on how old you are..... if you are old enough to buy booze then you should have probably moved out by now.

regardless you should tell her straight up from jump.
