The sex drive is such a mystery, why if I have gone without for quite awhile I do not miss it so much? But if I am getting it on a regular basis I can not get enough?

Yes... it's sort of like having an unlimited supply of chocolate ice cream... You just can't get enough because you know it's available...

I've been told that as well. For me it's not about how much I'm getting that determines that I want more and more, it's more about my mood or something like that maybe. I really have no idea, I'm not usually in short supply I suppose. It's also probably different from men and women.
I've heard from men that if they get it too much from the same girl they start to get bored... but them other men have said that is absolutely not true and they just want it more and more... so it also depends on the guy and his attitudes and preferences.
In general I think it is hard to make any sort of broad generalizations about ALL human behavior.
