There is no evidence of any kind that either one exists. A rational person cannot possibly conclude that there is any kind of supreme being, even one not related to religion -- there is just nothing of any kind to show that there is.
Without proof of any kind for a supreme being, believing in one makes no sense. It's the same backwards argument that the ID proponents make -- that since things seem complicated to us, there MUST be an intelligence behind them. Such an argument is a logical fallacy, and cannot be supported rationally.

Whatever is called god is infinite. Human beings are finite. They will never completely understand. If they did, they, too, would be gods. The Abrahamic god is a god locked in culture and history. It is a Middle Eastern concept that was warped in the Roman Empire, and, later, shaped and adapted into a more narrow concept in North America where it has become synonymous with the political right. It bears little resemblance to the Judeo/Christian revelations of the Semitic peoples.
Concepts of god in the 21st century are very anthropomorphic. God has been reduced to a man in order that human beings can begin to understand the divine.
If human history continues, the future will reveal a much more all-encompassing understanding of what, today, is a three-letter word.

Supreme being. There are way too many variations of God on this planet. If I created the universe, then I wouldn't be such a stranger around town. It's like having a supervisor at work, but you never (ever) see him/her. How are you suppose to be expected to do a good job? Beside the only reason
There is something big and great out there, but I doubt he or she is going to be religion specific.

I have to believe in the likelihood of something greater than us, because I can see evidence of evolution back to gases and atoms. Beyond that, I see no explanation. I think it's a conscious being who set up all the rules in the beginning: Natural Law and our inherent senses of good and evil. I define "evil" as: something that harms another through self-serving actions. I don't think the supreme being gets involved in anything petty, and certainly has no ego that requires bow-down worship. We were given all the tools to keep things running and the ability to predict the consequences of our actions. There is balance in everything. We have no good without evil; no joy without pain. I think it's a perfect plan to cause us to look out for one another, learn, grow and leave a legacy.

A supreme being not related to religions. I do think it is conscious, but does not really run our lives or interfere in anyway, its pretty much just observing.

I believe the supreme being would not be related to religion. I have not discovered whether it is conscious or not.

Rule out the Abrahamic God off the bat. He expects worship and doesn't Save those who don't, so if I thought He existed I'd be going to damnation. Pascal's Wager I believe that's called.
I don't see a supreme being at all. There is no single authority in life--why should there be one beyond it?

It's much more likely that, if there is a supreme being, it's one that no religion has discovered. And I really don't know it it would be conscious or not.

I don't see any empirical evidence for either the existence of deities or 'supreme being' not any empirical evidence against it. My own personal stand is I'm not bothered and not really searching hard to find out either. I'll find out after death and that is good enough for me.
