Yes, if you breath in too much fumes from the car exhaust , it will kill you too. The carbon monoxide is too much. But driving a car doesn't mean the driver have to breath in the fumes. Surely a little will get into the body, but if there's not a excess of it, then its ok
Hope it helps.

It is the same reason you never see a smoker near a power station or a car breathing in the smoke, I mean it would save them a lot of money. I don't stand at the back of my car breathing the smoke.

No. Diesel exhaust contains 18% oxygen. Air to fuel ratio is much higher than the stoichiometric fuel ratio of a gasoline engine. Newer Diesel engines with DOC and DPF after treatment have up to a 21% O2 content. After hours of exposure to the oxides of Nitrogen in diesel exhaust you may be nauseous. You can't die from a single (24hr) exposure to diesel exhaust.

First of all, why is it that nobody can tell me how long it takes for second hand smoke to kill. Its not like a whiff of it is going to kill you. And what about when the twin towers fell? All the workers have developed breathing problems.

I think second hand smoke kills but my main complaint is that smokers stink and I hate to be around them. Car exhaust I can deal with-
Is this the only thing smokers can come up with? How pathetic.

Because they need a lift and cant be bothered to walk. Its babies I feel sorry for when there in pushchairs there at just the same height as exhaust pipes but no one worries about that either.

If we worried about everything that was bad for us then we wouldn't be able to function as a human being. The truth is no matter what we do we are nearing our own mortality, what a bummer.

People generally don't die from exhaust fumes (unless you sit behind a car inhaling).
