Dr, Linder, Both would be good. As Americans also. You could answer what you think as an American.

jsjslj, You're funny. But you bring up the ? of judging. Judge not, lest you be judged. Means to not have a critical spirit. Meaning, always seeing or saying what is wrong with so & so who are also fellow Christians. Also it isn't a Christians place to judge those who are still sinners needing a savior, except to discern that they need Jesus. But if they are breaking the law, the courts will judge & they go to jail.
My prayer is that terrorists get bound, caught, imprisoned & the good news get presented to them correctly so they don't go to hell. Hell is a terror & no one would want to go there.

Pray!!! and listen to His voice in your heart. He will tell you if it's OK to go or not. God loves you and promises you that He will protect you.
It will work only if you follow His commandments... (repent for your sins, learn how to depend on the Holy Spirit in your temple, etc).
Once you repent for your sins, the Holy Spirit comes into your temple (your body)...and from that point on, He will guide you through the dangerous world...
God bless you.

The intended threats have been deemed no longer credible, you do not fairly have some thing to fear approximately -- besides worry itself, which turns out to have many on this nation entirely paralized. You do understand, do not you, that you've a far larger risk (by means of hundreds of thousands) of being killed in a auto coincidence this weekend than of being killed in a terrorist assault? And in the end, praying to a made-up god is not going to difference what occurs or does not occur. Proof of that occurs at each and every soccer recreation each and every weekend -- avid gamers on each groups pray for victory (and by and large make a significant exhibit of it), however in each and every recreation one crew loses. Are the losers simply dangerous christians given that god did not reply their prayers? Or might it's that "god" has not anything to do with the results of soccer video games? Or some thing else?

As Christians? How about as Americans. Why is this a Christian responsibility. Terrorist attacks on America are a threat to every american; Muslim, Budist, Chirstian, Black, White, Hispanic, Indian, Japanese, Chinese....
I'm christian myself, but come on!! Why make this into a Christian/religious thing? All your question does is drive more of a separation between Christians and the rest of the world.
Me personally, I know I can pray for the safety and protection of our country. I can also continue to maintain my vigilance, and be aware of my surroundings. I wont run around yelling "the sky is falling, the sky is falling." Walk with wisdom and peace.
Your question should read "As AMERICANS, what shall......

I don't even believe it is going to happen. Sometimes I wonder what would happen if we "accidentally" drop an nuke over Tehran? Might send a wake up call to the nuts out there.

As Christians you should do what all Christians do... pray (do nothing), and leave the doing to the people that actually make a difference.
