as long as you don't suck up to the teacher or rub it in the others faces you should be fine... the only people i really know who have lost friends when they are teachers pet are the ones who do it intentionally and then use it to their advantage... however there is nothing wrong with being a teachers pet as long as you are being yourself

Consider why you are called a "teacher's pet?" Do you work hard in school? Do you make good grades? Are you considered a good student? More than likely, yes. Therefore, your so-called "friends" envy you and your accomplishments. Ignore them and continue to focus on your studies. After all, when its all said and done...it is your grades that will get you into college...not your "friends." Good luck & best wishes!

Well, maybe they still like you. If they don't because you're a "teacher's pet," then they really weren't your friends to begin with.

Teacher's pet? You have really awful spelling and grammar skills, so I'm assuming you must be the P.E. teacher's pet.
Your friends must be as stupid as you to be jealous.

Well then they weren't your friends in the first place...If they are jealous over something so petty...like you being smarter than them...I'd find new friends
