there is no code to it....she means you are cute...if she had meant handsome she would have said handsome...plain and simple

When a girl says you're cute, it could mean a couple things…
The easiest comment would be she thinks you're cute, and she's young and cute herself, which puts you in great territory if you're looking to get lucky…
The hardest comment would be she thinks you're cute, and she's way too young, and you're looking for a jail stint if you indeed do sleep with her.
Usually when an older women comments on your appearance, she makes notes of your facial features, your hair, your attire, your mannerisms. This is the sign of a mature women who knows what she likes in a man; for a much younger woman, she will make "off the fly" comments like cute, dreamy, gorgeous; equating male attractiveness with what she find attractive in her female friends.
The best approach is to say thank you, would you like to have dinner/movie/sex, and enjoy the time. Truthfully said, she won't find you cute after a couple dates if things start going wrong.
So enjoy her while she still thinks you're "cute"!

Most of the time this just means,"we're friends." If you dating the girl then she should be saying your hot or sexy or handsome!! If she says your "cute" she's just your friend!!! Well....this is the only time I've ever said that a guy was cute...just to my friends!!! I tell my man he's hott!!! But,that's just me...all girls are different!!!

i like cute. handsome is so old people. but cute is like for boys. if she pinch your jaws. she means teddy bear cute. but if she just said you are cute, then you are handsome. but handsome is not really a word i will use. i prefer cute
