The guy and I were not dating before he went in but through letters and visits i think we gathered a closer bond with each other. my worst fear is that he wont do everything that he has promised when he gets out, like marriage and being faithful, because i have been practicing abstinance, i dont think he will wait but what do you think?

To me,it depends on how well you know the guy.It also depends on why he is there.People have told me"It he do the same crime,what got him there."and find out in your head before your heart if you feel right with his letters and feel comfortable with the distance for now.Yes,men are craving sex,just like on the outside in this world.Watch your step.You decide.Don't let anyone make your case for you.Listern to advice and use or not your choice.I have alot of support around you.Like you best friends,not the backstabber kind.

Been there done that. Run as fast as you can. Get your restraining order right now.
The things he is saying to you will "melt your panties off" but the facts are: He means non of the words that are coming from his mouth.
He is looking for a setup when he gets out of prison. He loves only himself, he couldn't be faithful to himself how do you expect him to be faithful to you in anything!
Do not save your body or anything you own for a person like that, you should value yourself more. He is a prisoner = a person who refuses to obey the law.
Find you a real man that can give back what you put in.

Who knows what guys in prison do to get by: sexually. Honestly....be his friend but nothing more!!!!!!!!! You dont know if he's full of hot air b/c he's in prison & your on the outside!! Once he gets out of prison he'll be like a orphaned child in Willy Wonka's candy store..trying everything & anything!! You sound like a good person, put all your good into someone who will give you "good" back!!!

Honey right now all he can do is wait. When he gets out it is all a different story. Just don't be doing him any illegal favors or anything like that cause he could be jusat using you. If he is telling you not to come visit on certain days and times then go on those certain days and times cause he is probably seeing another girl.

sweetie-pie i worked in the prison system...those men are not worth the time of day...it doesnt matter their crime...they are all the same...see a lady and you wanna pull your pants down and "holler"....this guy has already done something to be put in jail...you do it once and you will do it again...when he gets out...he might recover for a while and be all sweet but sooner or later hes going to go back to his old ways. your time is precious...do not wait for him...you would only regret it later. you will find a great man who treats you like heaven and forget about everyone else...

wow i wish ida thought of that... i should find my next girlfriend in a womans prison, allthough i hear that there are a lot of b&&chs in mens prisons too and i bet they are great people that would really like to have a moral and upstanding relationship once they get out after all they have been reformed they should be greaaaat people..... your so smart thanks for the great idea

I think that you should wait depending on what he did to go to jail depending on how serious what he was.And do you think he likes you allot to keep the promise that he made?Follow you heart and hopefully ever thing will work out.GOOD LUCK!

No he has been locked up with pure guys so when he gets out for sure he is going to want to have sex. think of what he is in prison for and then think if you want to stay with him

what is he in prison for? and for how long?
do you think he will do the same crime if he get out after you have a family?
