Honey she is 5...she is suppose to have mood changes...if you really thing something is seriously wrong...sit down with her and color or finger paint or do some activity with her that she loves...and just talk to her...watch what she does and just talk about her friends...school...and she should open up....you can go to like planned parenthood and places like those to get information on how to talk to your kids to get them to talk to you if you aren't sure she will talk to you....just be patient with her...she is probably going through a lot...starting school...new friends...teachers...being away from you...stuff like that...i hope this helps...good luck to you :)

Well, I hate to admit this but having raised 2 children myself and
first one a girl.......u are probably not keeping her on a routine
schedule and there may be too much chaos for her too handle.
My guess is that she needs less spoiling and more parenting. I
learned the hard way. Please do not take this badly but just into
consideration. All humans need boundaries to excel young and
old. = )

I think it may be a girl thing! :) Seriously, just talk to her about each of her moods. Ask her as her moods change why she feels sad, or mad, or happy. Give her lots of love and open conversation. If she gets depressed talk to your doctor about it. And if she doesn't want to talk to you about her feelings tell her you love her and want her to be happy. Then offer to let her talk to someone else about her feelings.

She might have a bipolar disorder. Take her to a doctor if you are that concerned. It also could be that she is not getting enough sleep and nutrition.

Her PMS is starting to kick in at an early age maybe. Don't worry. Everything's fine. Just ask her if she hurts anywhere.
