Probably and Yes... sort of.

As regards the latter... that is to say I KNOW evolution happens. Belief has nothing to do with it. I've seen it happen. I've watched bacteria do it... I've seen the fossil evidence of it happening among macro-organisms over the span of geological time. It goes without saying... Its not something that needs "belief" for validation.

As for whether your hard work paid off or not.... well... yes it did, but thats not to say that it couldn't be vastly improved upon by other later people who likewise will be remembered in their own way.
Afterall.... "Darwinism" in the classic sense is now outdated... and we run with what we conveniently call "Neo-Darwinism" ... which happens not to be entirely the same at all. That is to say "survival of the fittest" is all well and good much of the time, but your lineage is going nowhere if you're tough as nails, eat ten times as much as everyone else... but can't get any ...
... Sex, that is.

Yep.
NEO-Darwinism is all about the sex. Survival is only a means to that end. Evolution isn't so much about survival of the fittest any more as who can produce the fittest offspring (and the most).

obviously... although it was not all that hard, was it? ;)

but of course i do NOT believe in evolution. which is the whole point in scientific work... i do not have to believe. you provided us with a concept, with substantial proof and pretty well layed out conclusion... and although all of those have been much amended since, none were so far proven wrong. so, until that happens i will accept your theory, Mr Darwin.

thank you so much.

PS oh, EARL D: i am not entirely sure, but i think Mr Darwin mentions somewhere in his book that the whole point of natural selection lies therein, that NO higher order entity is needed to keep it working... are you really sure that does not contradict creationism and intelligent design?

I do not see a link to view your book, but writing is always worth the effort.

I do believe in evolution and I believe that God created the Universe as an evolving work of art.

Take care,
Troy

Shouldn't there be at least some 'missing links' floating around somewhere? No, I really can't imagine this world of wonder and our wonderful bodies being thrown together by many many coincidences. This said with non-hate and best wishes.

Dude, You stood on the shoulders of others who came before you.
And funnily enough you're buried at Westminster Abbey. I guess a sense of humor is essential.

Only in your own EGOTISTICAL mind. You have only reached
those who already thought the way you do.
HARD FACTS I've learned myself.
But that doen't mean others won't use you ideas. Just don't
expect to get any credit for it!

hard work pretty much always pays off...not always in the way you want it to, but everytime, something's learned &/or achieved from it.

No, I don't believe in evolution.
