I have a siberian husky

It really just depends. Typically six months is not unusual and neither is nine months. I would watch for signs from your Siberian between those ages. Then six months later is a second heat. Some dogs totally miss their first heat.
Some signs to watch for are for her to begin to urinate more than usual (marking), constantly seems to want to clean herself, swelling of the vulva and of course blood.
If you are going to spay her do it now before she comes in heat.
Hope this helped you. Oh, last but not least...watch her CAREFULLY when she comes in season if you don't plan on spaying her!

Most large breeds dog have their first heat between 7 months and about 1 year. Some go more than a year before having one.
The space between heats is usually 6 months but can be up to nine months or more.
It depends on the dog each one is different.

all the answers you have had are pretty good. my mom raises huskies, and most came into heat at about 10 months. of course she always let them come in twice before she would breed them.

they go into heat about 6-12 months of age

dogs lose there baby teeth at 6 months and usually have there first heat at 10 months
