My arm was pulled out of socket and now the surgeons say that I've torn the labrum off the bone. I've been fitted with a "gunslinger" type sling and I'm quickly getting the impression that this is going to be a really rough surgery. If you've been in my shoes can you tell me what to expect?

I have never had it, but arthroscopic is definitely less likely to be rough compared to open joint surgery, I would hope for a lesser risk of adverse outcomes from this surgery and still good or maybe even better results, good luck
