Angels were created. This is clearly implied in Psalm 148:2,5—"Praise Him, all His angels....For He commanded and they were created." Colossians 1:16-"For in Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities-all things were created through Him and for Him."

Genesis 2:1 "Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished" seems to indicate that creation stopped on the 6th day, so they were created before that time. Job 38:4-7-"Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding, Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it? On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God shouted for joy?"

It might be assumed that angels may have all been created together at the same time since there is no evidence to indicate that they produce offspring. Matthew 22:30-"For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven."

My best guess is that angels were created somewhere between day 1 and 6, just as all the other created things were. However, one could argue that it happened before day 1 since there is no revelation for or against.

The Bible doesn't tell us when the angels were made. There are a number of opinions.

It could be that when God made the Heavens and Earth, the Heavens included the angels, so that would mean before day 1.

They could have been created as a part of the animals, the birds, or the stars, so on one of those days.

They could have been the descendants of Adam and Eve before they ate the tree of the garden. I doubt it, you'd think there'd be at least one mention of it.

Their creation might not be mentioned because they are not a part of the Heavens and Earth, therefore the details of Genesis 1 and 2, which chronicle the creation of Heaven and Earth, don't include it. In that case, asking which day they were created on according to the Bible is like asking which day the 100 years war started according to the History of America. The History of America wouldn't say because the 100 years war was in Europe.

It could be that they are eternal. I doubt it, I think only God is eternal.

Or maybe angels aren't created, but are special manifistations of God himself. I doubt it.

The Bible does not say when the angels were made. We know that the first mention of an angel is really Satan as a fallen one in the garden of Eve. Psalm 104:4 mentions "God makes his angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire". We can infer here that angels were probably made before man was to minister for God since they are His ministers. After man we know that one of the angels main duties is to carry prayers and their answers and the word angel is often translated from the biblical language word meaning messenger.

The Genesis account of the six "days" only pertains to the preparation of the the earth for animal and human habitation. The Bible says nothing about when Jehovah created his heavenly sons.

This is a good question, kinda like the question where did the women that Cain and Able married come from? God made Adam and Eve and they had sons but who gave birth to the women these boys wed??? I have never gotten a satisfying answer to that one.

I believe that all angels are those that were or of this earth and were created right along with the rest of us as God's spiritual children.

The angels that first come to mind are Michael who is Adam and Noah, who is Gabriel. They lived on this earth in mortality and now serve God as angels.
