To find peace you have to look with in your self. That's also the place to find true happiness.

I find peace within myself; when I have lived intune with nature, treated people well, made right decisions, I find peace. In all honesty, looking at it from that view, I rarely find peace, because like everyone else I make mistakes. :) But I believe that is when I will find peace, when I am able to do all of those things on a daily basis.

Peace can only be found within ones self. It can be challenged from time to time by the hard times in life. I earned my peace by releasing bitterness and hate and embracing myself. That was a gradual process and I was discouraged many times. I am content now and at peace with my life.

A verse from the Bible comes to mind,
"...do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6+7

I find peace by going out into the woods, building a fire chest high, then leaping through it until I pass out from hyperthermia and exhaustion. When I go into states like this, I have visions that are personally significant. They are often painful but the revelations themselves bring quite a sense of overwhelming comfort, peace, and awareness.

Thru others (my girlfriend and a couple of close friends) and God. I sometimes find it in myself but get derailed by life's curveballs if too many at the same time (like this week). It is hard to keep peace when life messes with you too much, that is, if you were born ultra-sensitive like I was.
