What online pet pharmacies are reputable?

I have heard that some online pet pharmacies sell fake or not completely reputable drugs, does anyone know which to avoid? I need levothyroxine (thyroid meds) for my dog, so I really want the correct drug for the best price. Is petcarerx.com ok?

I have always used petmeds.com with no problem.

My vet doesn't like that I use them but I have never found anything wrong with their products & they are less than buying direct from my vets office. One time I pruchased products from my vets office & when I got the Rymidal home & opened it I looked at the label & it was past it's expiration date!!!

It can be bought over the counter in Boot's, BUT you have to have a consultation with the pharmacists.
There are also some online pharmacies that employ qualified and registered doctors, who after an online 'consultation' provide a script that is then honored by that pharmacy. Follow pharmacies that are accredited by the VIPPS or Vet-VIPPS programs without prescription.

Drugstore.com will fill a prescription for a dog written by a vet. I know cause I asked them because my dog was on a human drug for a while. It's totally reputable and cheap. Don't know your dog's dosage but here's the price for levothyroxine 25mg is 8.99 for 30 pills, 90 pills is $20. Ask your vet to write you a prescription or they can contact your vet if you provide your vet's info to them. I've used them and really like them. The shipping cost is 1.49 a bottle and you can buy it every 3 months vs monthly.

Here's the email they sent me when I first asked them about filling my pets prescription:

I also like entirelypets.com but not sure they fill "human" meds. I buy my flea meds from them.

You really should get it from your vet. He/she knows the animal and knows the proper amounts for them. If you buy from an online place you have to pay shipping, usually, which makes it cost about the same as your vet's anyway, and you don't get the personal care the vet gives you. (petmeds.com actually costs MORE than my vet charges, and shipping is additional!)
