You can get it done today...but it will get dried out...if you want to wait till it regains some natural strenght it will take about a week...and what stacey said is absolutley not true....stripping your hair is just another word for bleaching it....I don't know why somone who has no idea what they are talking about would commnet...and also...you do not need to wait a month...if you do...your roots will have grown out 1/2 an inch and you will have a whole new set or problems to try and match the roots while fixing the color....you will end up paying out the a*ss...Don't wait more than a week.......

Definitely get to a salon ASAP and be sure to tell them what you used on your hair.. some hair colors in the stores have metallic dyes in them and it will be good to know what you had used.
They will be able to advise you on what will be best for your hair and get it fixed immediately... then you can get a conditioning treatment if you want to, and your hair will be just fine... Oh, be sure to get a stylist that is good with hair coloring too! Some are specialists in coloring and do know a lot more than someone who just cuts hair...

i could pass to a salon yet once you are able to no longer have the money for it then purchase a hair bleaching kit. stick to the instructions yet do no longer panic curiously orange as that's merely going interior the direction of the stages. some people panic whilst they see the orange and wash it off. leave it untill that's blonde in lots of cases approximately 40 minutes and then wash it off and condition it. Then use a toner interior the colour you require.

Your hair is pre-softened from your own color application that has gone wrong. Therefore, your hair shaft will easily absorb non-damaging "semi-permanent" color as a salon corrective color service like permanent color without further damage to your locks - so you could color your hair right away with this option. You may wish to schedule a corrective color consultation with a licensed colorist prior to the service to insure you are both on the same page in consideration of your color goals.

you can go as soon as you can. i actually dyed and highlighted my hair about a month ago and it turned out horrible! so that night i bought a darker hair color dye and dyed it the next morning. yes my hair felt a little dry but not too bad. i just continued to condition my hair daily so in less than a week my hair was as soft and smooth as normal.

I would say two weeks but if you hate it so much go get it done as soon as possible make sure you get a deep conditioner for your hair because it will be very dried out...

i would say go to the salon and get a consultation first. they will be able to tell you how soon they can safely change your hair color without damaging your hair

Do a strip and take the color off...
As long as you didn't bleach it it will be back to your natural color.
