If we have had a male and female St. Bernard together for 2 1/2 wekks, how do I know is the female is prenant? Does she act different, or what?

Was she in heat? If so, was there a tie? Usually the female will only accept the male during the second week of her heat. After that she won't have anything to do with him. The normal gestational period from the first breeding is 63 days. Wait and have her check by a vet after about 3 weeks.

She might start even having some morning sickness symptoms,. sounds weird but I just had this happen with a springer spaniel.. the vet can do a blood test but it's still harder to tell if shes pregnant until shes about a month along.
