If you've never met before why does it matter? You don't owe him nethin just make a joke of it n say somethin like God you must think I'm some sort of bunny boiler, Im not honest! Sorry hope I haven't put u off, or Say I feel a little silly hope we're okay. If he doesn't reply, so what! There's plenty of other guy's out there and at least you never have to see him. I sometimes forget myself and behave that way too, sometimes I just step back and tell myself to stop being a ****, and just relax!!!!

Kudos to you for recognizing that you have done something for which you need apologize.
Second step, of course, is to actually make amends!
I would compose a letter of sincere apology and email it to that person. I would also take the opportunity to tell the person how much their friendship means to me. Throwing in a few complements about why they are such a good friend might go a long way to thawing any coldness they might be feeling toward you.
Finally, an apology is not only an expression of regret for having done something to hurt another, but it should be a promise to refrain from that behavior in the future. Don't forget to add that part!
Good luck to you!

Apologise, send this person a Yahoo Greeting card and be sincere about it. There are so many lovely cards to choose from.

Say sorry it is always the best way. Explain that it was a lapse in your normal behaviour and ask the person to excuse you. It is always best ot be truthful

Call, IM and apologize sincerely. They will forgive if they are a true friend, and if they aren't, they won't. You are a good person if you are taking responsibility for your actions....

I'm sorry, unless you know how to say it in a foreign language. Let them know that you know that you made a mistake, and realize it, and want to apologize.

Just say the magic word..." I am very sorry please forgive me"....it doesn't cost you anything but it can helps to bring back the relationship. And next time please try to bite your tongue...(hold your fingers if you are going to type something silly again). Don't worry ...no one is perfect. Good Luck.
