So the priest cops to it? If that's the case I honestly don't know what to think. How anyone can do something so disgusting and then react so casually is beyond me. Maybe he supposes god is on his side? Every aspect of this is deplorable...

I think Mark Foley may have an excellent attorney.
How many excuses has he come up with so far?
The incident is reprehensible, however, the attention is being diverted from the incidents he perpetrated himself.
It cannot be a "Catholic" thing.
This is one person, although there have been many, to take advantage of younger children. There are a lot more perps out there than just the religious types.
Society should deal with each individual as they commit the crime. History excluded.
The media should deal with the current crime and then look at why it happened.
It now perpetuates Foley with a reason to be the victim.

His mistreatment by a priest has nothing to do with his molesting boys after he reached his middle 50's, several terms in office running on the slogan "Protect the Children".
That sort of plea is one Neocons are always complaining about being a Liberal mind set.
Now we are finding out that the Republican congress has been a daisy-chain of questionable sexual conduct, for years.

Don't know if the priest did it or not. If so he need to burn in Hell after he gets molested in jail. However, there are suddenly a lot of people saying they was molested as children, not all of them are telling the truth. Some are doing it so they can get their own little Pity Party going.

Can you believe that he republicans are actually blaming Bill Clinton for the Foley scandal? Anyway I agree, the Catholics should demand more answers about these behaviors form their spiritual leaders.

Take it with a grain of salt. Foley got caught and quickly came up with an excuse as to explain his behavior. I was molested by a priest is probably something he came up with to get some sympathy. It's like saying, "Mom and Dad didn't give me enough love so I killed people." Excuses excuses.

You can blame anything on the catholics and get away with it.
Foley is the child molester here and this is a republican ploy to shift the blame from them selves.

Foley is trying to deflect the criticism.
Merciece is trying to excuse his own criminal behavior.
Denial is not just a river in Egypt.

Thats the thing He is able to be released from his past..The Lord wants Him free from the pain in his past and He has forgiven those who has hurt him...They don't have control over him no longer and the Lord will deal with this person or persons...He has no more embarrasment because their is no more pain...Doenst mean He will never forget but He knows the trick of his enemy and will never be put in that postion again...
