You might as well tell her. She will find out eventually and at least you will have told her yourself without having to find out.
Good Luck.

I suspect that if your Mum is a non smoker she will be fully aware that you smoke.Smokers seem to think that just by sucking a mint, or chewing some gum they take away the smell of cigarettes but it gets into your clothes, hair and skin. If your Mum is a non smoker then she will know, if she is a smoker then why don't you strike up a pact with her, that if she gives up then so will you. After all we all lead by example don't we and she cannot really tell you off for smoking if she is doing the same.
Hope this helps

Hi well if she didnt mind before then she wont mind now, all she is thinking about is you and your health but you are already going against what she said so why not tell her. You should just quit all together then you dont have to tell her do you. Why if you quit befor did you start up again. Smoking changes people, so she probabley already knows anyway.

how old r u? if you are old enough i see no point in telling her. im a mum to three boys of 16 14 and 12 and if any one of them smoked i would kill them - i hate it. but if u r not a kid why bother - why annoy her - why upset her -
i cant understand why she cant smell it on you

she'll find out soon enough anyway as most people can smell the fags off smokers straight away, its gross- even worse when people try to cover up the smell by chewing gum and spraying body spray - it sort of mixes with it so you get faggy-minty smells.
like you said - she will be upset if you are smoking again.

Depends how old you are. I'm 20 and do woteva the fu*k I want, yet to this day, I can't look my Mum n Dad in the eye and say "I smoke." I think its disrespectful, so I don't do it in front of them.
But I've stopped now, and I reckon you should too.
That advert on TV was quite good (if you smoke, you stink) and as a lady, it looks bad- i swear its bad for your eyes and skin or something. Or.........ahhhh who cares

Obviously you are guilty that you are smoking, so why don't you try quitting again? It's more of a battle with yourself than your mom. So quit smoking for your own good.

Tell your mum and ask her to help you to STOP! Smoking ages your skin faster than anything else i can think of! Besides possibly giving you lung cancer, throat cancer, emphysema, and god knows what else! Give up and don't start again!

my mum never told her mum she smoked, my mum kept this up for all of my grans life, so there my mum was 54 years of age, hiding cigarettes and ash trays when ever my gran came round. very funny to watch.
im sure my gran knew all along, if you have a 'normal' relationship with your mum she will know, mums know everything, they are clever like that.
