Think back a few centuries to a time when the catholic church had absolute control over much of europe. Do you seriously think, in times like those when they considered people of different ethnicities to be inferior... that they could possibly convince the common people that a middle-easterner and NOT in fact a caucasian was the "saviour" and "son of god"? Honestly? ... The sheer inherant racism of the time wouldn't have allowed it. Jesus's ethnicity was altered so caucasian people would believe it.
Jesus was probably the same ethnicity as Osama Bin Laden. That'll rile a few people, I imagine.

You are probably right. I stands to reason that Jesus, based on his ethnic background of being Jewish, the place he lived, the Middle East - Israel and Egypt, the fact that while in Egypt, we Mary and Joseph had to go to Egypt to get away from the King who order the death of male babies 2 and under, that Jesus was of a darker skin tone. While Jewish / Israelites can be rather light, but still darker that and English person, the fact that he was fit in well enough in Egypt that no suspicions arose, would lead me to believe he was a little darker. Egyptians are typically slightly darker. A good idea of the skin color of Jesus would probably be found if you looked at say, the President of Egypt, or any of the people you have seen on TV in Iraq. So, not white, but not black, a shade in between.

I know. This always made me laugh. He looked like a middle eastern man. Period. However it is said that Magdalena was blonde. OLd guy, the only 'white' Jews are the Ashkenazi, and that is only from their proximity to Europeans aftre the diaspora. A lot of us are now white, for the same reason, and I am Separdic, which have their origins in Spain/Portugal, and the Mediterranean area. Im still dark though, and usually get mistaken for Greek or Italian.

Jesus replaced into Jewish and probable gave the effect of Jews seem as we talk. The wool hair and bronze pores and skin noted in Revelation were a depiction given by technique of John after one in each and every of his visions, one which he had at the same time as in exile on the island of Patmos. This description defined Jesus' visual attraction after he had back to Heaven, no longer at the same time as he replaced into in the international. there is no actual description of Jesus everywhere in the bible.

The Bible clearly states he was Jewish, not caucasian. We can only assume what he actually looked like based on historical accounts. It also states that Jesus was not a great looking guy because it says that people would not be drawn to him because of his looks. That does not mean he is ugly. It just means that people were not drawn to him because he was good looking. See prophetic books (latter part of Old Testament concerning prophecies of the Messiah).

Read the geneology of the lineage of Jesus Christ and you will find that He was born into a Jewish lineage. Whether He was dark skinned or light, what does it matter as long as He came for our salvation. Love God always no matter what people say.

Jesus was Jewish and most Jewish people are white, that is why we assume it. Do you think that is wrong.
