Guys--what do u think of tats on a woman?

Just wonderin' b/c I have a scorpion on my shoulder blade and thinkin' of havin' another 1.

thinkin' of havin' my 2 daughter's names around my ankle.

Tattoos on a woman are fine, as long as they're not out of control (tats EVERYWHERE) or obviously trend-inspired. My personal opinion is that your tattoo should be unique to you, so you should have a good idea of what you want and where you want it before you even set foot in the tattoo parlor. It's very obvious which girls put thought into it and which girls went into the place, flipped through a book, and said, "Um, I like that one."

If you're still deciding where you want the tattoo, the lower back is still hot but kinda overdone. I think the side of the hip/waist is a good location for women, it's not done often and it really looks hot with almost any shape of tattoo. If you're the type of girl who can pull off a two-piece swimsuit or low-rise jeans and a halter top...shiiiiiiiit!

Personally, it's a turn-off as far as anything romantic goes; however, I have seen some extraordinarily pretty artwork displayed in the form of tats on a woman.

I don't know whether my aversion to tats is because I so strongly associate them with the tats used to ID inmates at concentration and death camps (which is aggravated because LE also uses tats for ID purposes), or if maybe there's something religious about it.

I don't assume tattooed women are bad people or not ladies, etc., but on a personal basis, tats just don't appeal to me. Maybe if they are colorful decals or body paint that will come off -- that's cool, but permanent ink is ick to me.

i think that tats on a girl have different factors based on location and type, if its in a place that you can hide when you need too and its something attractive to yourself then its cool especially when you get older

I think the lower back tattoos are kinda hot if its a tribal butterfly or something, other then there it looks terrible.
