He who can not read and he who do not read are the same.
this is from your profile, but look at the irony behind it. the 1st person it suits is your ownself.

First of all, the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) had 11 wives and a concubine but not all at the same time. So there were no 13 houses. Secondly it does not say that each women had their own home, only that each must be treated equally, if one had a home then they all must, but of 3 (for example) shared the same home then another 3 could share the second home. The Prophets first wife was Khadijah, she was a wealthy women from Mecca who hired the prophet to take her goods to Syria for sale. For himself, the prophet was a merchant who had a reputation for being honest. he was known as al-Amin which means the trustworthy. He did not live off of her and did not take any other wife during their marriage. The Prophet never attempted to use his position or influence for material gain although he could certainly have been wealthy if he had chosen to do do. Instead he remained a simple man, often doing the manual labor of the household along side his slave( whom he later freed and adopted as a son.) Remember slaves in those times were very common, and as a leader in battle he could have had many had he wanted. One of his wives said that since he became the Prophet he had never once eaten a piece of bread made from fine milled flour, when he was given something fine to eat or wear he always suggested another person that could use it more. If it was food he always gave it to his wives and children first. He certainly did not live like a King. I suggest you find a book on the life of the Prophet and read it since you seem to have many false ideas of his life and teachings.

Ill have to recommend you read "The complete idiots guide to Islam" by Y.Emerick Not trying to insult you( I have the book and dont consider myself an idiot-OK no comments onthat one!) but it really would clear up some misconceptions so you could have a decnt knowledge base and be able to discuss it a bit more. I cant go into point by point as I am lazt to repeat it all, hence th e book recommendation-but fr one thing it is well known that he was not living in luxury at all and often had not enough to eat and gave charity all that he had beyond survival items. As far as I nderstand it,someone correct me if I got this story wrong,at the end of the day if he had even one "cent" of excess money that wasnt used that day he would orderit to be given to the poor instantly. So please, read up as it makes you(or me or anyone else who hasn't "done the homewok") sound ignorant and you most probably are not as you have managed to collect information and you tried a little bit to learn so you just need to expand it and get rid of the inaccurate parts. Good luck in your studies and endeavors to understandothers It is a noble effort.

Look at the TV evangelcalists are all on the Forbes 400 list of richest men in America. The least paid is still a millionaire.
those religious leaders in the middle east are not poor they are all rich. From the masses giving them money because why?
"God talks to me and tells me what to tell you and he says give me money" Sound familiar? You think the Pope lives in a shack?
cleans his own bathroom? It was the same in Jesus day the
Pharasees where it says rich money lovers who exploited the poor. Luke18:9 Was my favorite story:
But he spoke to this illustration also to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and who considered the rest as nothing. 10 he starts a story about two men.
two men went up into the temple to pray, the one a pharisee and the other a tax collector. the pharisee stood and began to pray these things to himself: "O God I thank you I am not as the rest of men extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week I give the tenth of all things I acquire.
But the tax collector standing at a distance was not willing even to raise his eyes heavenward but kept beating his breast saying,
" O God be gracious t me a sinner." Jesus said:
"I tell you, this man went down to his home proved more righteous than that man because everyone who exhaults himself will be humiliatd but he that humbles himself will be exhaulted.

every self made multimillionaire I ever met was a scum sucking bottom feeder who got rich by preying on the weak and defenceless.
And you are right 13 wives is not simple. even one can complicate things no end.
Also the story seems symbolic, there is that mystical number 13 like the apostles and the jewish tribes number showing up again.

Well, it is interesting to me that Mohammed preached a "gospel" of peace and unity until he got enough followers to form an army. Then it was jihad this and drive-out-the-infidels that...
Contrast that with Jesus, who took the message of nonviolent resistance to the grave.
