I'm sorry for your frustration! 7th Grade IS hard!! When you're use to elementary and freedom then suddenly it's not - it's hard to adjust!! My son is struggling as well. He is 13 and in 7th Grade. He has an F in Science but says he's trying. I can't get too much communication out of him to try to help him. I WANT to help him! We don't want to punish as severe as your parents did only because it will make you rebel and NOT try harder, but yet if we're too soft on him - he'll think he can get away with it! Study more - can you go in early or stay later in school to study with another student that has had these classes before or the teacher can help you with one on one? Ask you school counselor too! Prayer for wisdom and strength works too! Good luck, sweetie!

homework is have to do, but extra practice is better. Maybe you can show that you really want to get good grades by buying supplementary works out in book shop, so that you can practice your work. Another way you can try is asking your friends to come over your place to study together, then your parents will know that you are studying. Well, practice makes perfect. Anyway, trust will develop slowly it would not gain back through a night, so i guess through this your parents will know that you really care about your grades. Good luck!

Talk to your counselour in school and say that you want to do better and that you are trying, that will show your parents that you try, keep doing your homework the same day you get them so they are not late and you get them out of the way and have more time for yourself. If you have trouble getting your homework done there are homework help websites or in your own school they might have something. Do your homework when they are around so they see you are trying

Maybe seek out some extra help. Ask if they can get a tutor for you or ask your teachers if you can have some extra help in the classes that you're struggling with. Show your parents that you really are making the effort to do better, and while this is not a subject that comes easy to you, you are doing everything you can to improve.

Good luck and keep your chin up!

You will regain your parents trust if you try harder, finish your homework all the time, and get good grades.
