Is there a problem with me adopting the mores and taboos of Paganism but not take part in any religious practices?

You cannot mix religions like buddhists and Christians. They do not serve the same God.

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Judges 10:13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

From a Buddhist perspective you can be both a Buddhist and a christian, but from a christian perspective you cannot. You cannot be an atheist and any other religion, because A Theism is the lack of belief in any religion. As for Paganism, I think that adopting the mores and taboos is a large part of the belief system, so you would (in effect) be practicing.

There is no Islamic atheist. Islam is purely religious through and through. There is no problem when mixing religions if your purpose is to take all the good teachings that will make you a better person. But to do it because you want to be where it is safe at a time at your own convinience is an insincere act on your path which later may confuse you more. I would rather stay a non-believer to any of these religions and just do what is right for me and for my well being as a member of the human society.

The Buddhists would certainly tell you you could be a Buddhist Christian. And many Christians would tell you the same; the philsophies of Buddhism are not far off from Christianity, and there is no god to "serve" in Buddhism, and Buddhists do not worship the Buddha. It honestly wouldn't be much different from the last scenario you postulate; rather than practicing a religion, simply taking on its ideas.

The Bible is clear there is only one God, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, the God who sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, if you bow your knee to any other god than that is idol worship and therefor a sin, and no one can mix religions, because to be one you must deny all others, you can not serve two masters, you can only serve the God of heaven or Satan.

Buddhists won't care if you're christian, but some christian religions would NOT want you to be a buddhist.

Not a clue.

I don't see why not, but I'm not qualified to say.

It can not be done successfully. You will fail and lose your soul.

Matthew 6:24 - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Luke 16:13 - No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

You can do or believe whatever you want. Everyone has to find their own path. The way I see it, as long as whatever you choose doesn't harm or belittle anyone then there's nothing wrong with your choice.

yes there is here is why. christian means little jesus, christ like. with that now known, mormons, budist, muslims atheists things like that can not be christians. because they are not "like christ" they belive other things then what is taught in the bible. they may belive some things in the bible, or even the bible, plus other books written by man falsly saying it is form god. those make you non christians.
