The version I remember went a little differently.
Miss Lucy had a steamboat

dyed her hair all purple,
she dyed her hair all pink,
she dyed her hair with gasoline and washed it down the sink!
This was the version that we sang, but it was Miss Susie for us, not Lulu. Funny how different places have different versions!
