You can download eTrust antivirus for free which comes with a one year subscription of virus definition updates. After one year, you have to register again to renew your subscription. You can download eTrust from Computer Associates (CA), makers of eTrust, but you do need to register with a name and valid e-mail address. You will receive periodic e-mails from CA about their other products. To avoid the spam, you can use a disposable e-mail to register. The download site is: http://home3.ca.com/Microsoft/

Nope, it's not free, but I got it for free! lol Had to use a serial to register it.
