I think everyone is missing the point. I don't think this guy necessarily wants to sue Taco Bell because it took so long to get his food out. Seems more like he's making a point about how if an African-American mother of a superstar wants to pitch a fit over a little thing and sue for racism (because they all HAPPEN to be white), anyone else can too. Why should she get special treatment?

I see your point about crying racism for every little perceived slight and we'll just have to wait to see what the deal is with Chris Rock's mom and her issue. If you look at it from another angle if white people (for example) had a NAAWP, blacks would be all over it. Why is there no WET channel on television? Same reason. We're just not tolerant yet of other races - although, I think, most people try.
Honestly though, did you REALLY wait 30 minutes? You could have left you know!

Because she's black my friend. This nation has become so seperated based on race, and so misguided. No longer does one race hold a voice, but many do, and those who suffered in the past feel it is their duty to use the events as an excuse for their behavior and bigotry. It is not socially acceptable for Chris Rocks mom to do what she did, neither is yours. The fact that most if not all of the employees were black does not constitute for the inadequate waiting period you sustained. It is meerely an even of consequence. There is no true ground on which to base a law suit for the wait, nor does it mean it cannot be done, for there have been many lawsuits established out of events truly of disgrace and incompetance.

No, I don't think you should sue Taco Bell. Anyone I've ever been to has been slow.. very slow. You really feel they were signaling you out? What about others in the drive did they wait just as long? Was the interaction filled with racial slurs?
_I don't think it's socially acceptable for Chris Rocks mother to do it.
Famous people get away with a lot of things that aren't socially acceptable

Wow! Let me in on the class action.
This week I gave our local Taco Bell another chance, and we waited over 30 minutes for our food, also. Not the first time this has happened to me.
When my husband picked up the food and asked what took so long (we were on lunch breaks, by the way, and didn't even have the time to eat before we had to return to work), they said "well, everyone called in except for one person today." The drive-through was actually moving at a reasonable pace.
I think if a fast-food restaurant is going to take your money in advance of your getting service, they at least owe you the courtesy of letting you know, "There is an unreasonably long wait today, due to our difficulties."
No one goes to a fast-food restaurant in order to get service 30 minutes later.

I can see you are upset about the situation. But what will you or anyone gain from suing?? I would almost bet you cannot even get it through the front door of the court house?? So if you want to sue. then by all means go ahead. Sounds like it is for your own benifit alone.....

If your going to sue, then sue because you feel that you were mistreated and not because the buisness was ran by all blacks. It sounds like there is another issue that you want to bring up.

no one forced you to wait in the drive-through, it's your own fault for wasting your time - the food's not that good! Why are people so quick to look for someone to sue every time the least little thing goes wrong - what ever happened to the concept of personal responsibility???

If you're going to sue taco bell, it should be for using Grade D beef.
