I see them as good people doing there best to find their way in a confusing world.

Sadly they are doing this with a handicap because they have been convinced the God is a conditionally loving, judgmental, punishing, insecure jerk.

They have been taught this since birth and it is very difficult for them to understand that God loves all of us equally and would never think of judging or condemning anyone for any reason.

Love and blessings Don

I'm a Christian and I have known for some time now that just because someone says they are one, does not mean anything. You can see if they are by how they live, what they believe and how they treat others. I have been to many churches over the years in different states and different denominations. What did I find? That all of them are basically the same except their doctrines.

In general, someone who is a true Christian I will see as someone who reads the Bible, worships, prays, follows what God has laid down for right living; love others, do good, love God, etc., etc.

Above, that, I think many Christians are on the busyness track and need to slow down, chill out and really look at what they are taking on. God doesn't call us to busyness, He calls us to be.

A lot are very nice. Its when they start preaching at me, and getting all weepy about Jesus then I start to question the general intelligence of mankind and wonder how on Earth we actually made it this far. We Jews have a prayer for this very thing which I will just translate into English: "Blessed are you Lord, our one God, ruler of the Universe who has kept us alive, sustained us, and enabled us to reach this point in time." That is truly a miracle. Here is the Hebrew: Beruch atah Adonai eloheinu, melech ha'olam sh'hecheyanu, v'kiyemanu, v'higanu lazman ha'zeh. THis is called the Sh'hecheyanu, and is one of our holiest.

I see all Christains as a work in progress!! Just as me...we are human and will do things that are not pleasing to the Lord but we are to judge ourselves get back up and move on,,without the guilt..we are to learn to forgive ourselfs and others for any pain caused...we will never be perfect,,never..I would hope people would understand that,,we are to try to be more like Jesus,,I have seen many who say they are Christains but walk no differently than someone who doesnt believe,,now it will be God who will judge them not me...

Generally kind and peaceful, but they become over zealous during the Christmas season and begin to impose their beliefs on others. But that's probably only the "shopper" that loses self control during their "season."

There are two kinds of Christians. The ones who just call themselves christians and do not obey God's laws, and the born again Christians who follow God's laws to the best of their abilities, and repent of their falling short of God's glory daily. Even though we are all sinners, a true born again christian will recognize their sinful way, and work at changing that part of them selves to become more christlike.

The self apointed Christian, just uses that title with out living for God, but saying that they do. They tolerate the darkness of this sinful world of today, and remain silent, and do not share God's word to lead others out of their darkness. Those kind of christians are reprobates.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Deuteronomy 27:10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

IF a "christian" does not study the word of God daily, how can they learn the do's and don't according to His word? There is no excuse for it. The bible is available to everyone today.

Doing their best to follow Christ but in most cases failing miserably. I'm definitely not any better at that game. I think the important thing is that they are sincerely trying though. No one is perfect that's why we need the grace of Jesus Christ all the more.

Christians differ from true christians. Everyone calls themselves christian these days even though they commit fornication, drunkards, abusers, lawless, adulterors, liars, etc. The churches are full of these.
